GoPro is the scrappy startup based in Half Moon Bay that made its name strapping high-definition cameras to the front of surfboard and bicycle handlebars. Now, GoPro is blooming into a full-grown company: It received a first round of funding from outside investors like Steamboat Ventures, and, in late March, GoPro announced it acquired the post-production software company CineForm.
