Set around a roughly 530 acre private lake south of Steamboat Springs, Lake Catamount combines expansive water views with a quiet high country landscape. The lake area includes cabins, cottage lots and larger residential lots, with different settings and ownership considerations.
Properties are not interchangeable. Consider waterfront position, views, lake access, lot configuration, architectural guidelines and the distinction between residential ownership and club membership.

For eligible Catamount Ranch & Club members, Lake Catamount offers opportunities for boating, paddling, fishing and summer days beside the water. The Lake House area features dining and social spaces, fitness, pool and wellness amenities, with seasonal activities and outfitting programs.
In winter, the surrounding trail network becomes part of the Nordic skiing and snowshoeing experience. Club access and specific recreational privileges depend on membership status and current club rules.

Finding the right Lake Catamount property
A finished home offers immediate enjoyment, while a homesite gives you the opportunity to design a custom retreat. Compare exposure, terrain, construction limitations, utility connections, district services and the total cost of building.
The lake neighborhood is approximately ten miles south of Steamboat Springs. It offers a different setting from the golf side of Catamount Ranch & Club, which is closer to Highway 40 and the private championship course.

Owning property at Lake Catamount should not be assumed to include Catamount Ranch & Club membership or access to private club facilities. Current membership opportunities, initiation and recurring dues, guest policies and any transfer rules should be verified directly before purchase.
